Soft Sell in Collections using Text Messaging
It's called Asynchronous Communication. The Debtor is in control. They know who you are and what you want before they contact you. They can contact you when they want. There is no confrontation or personality clash. These are just some of the reasons that debtors often prefer text messaging over other forms of contact. The numbers you see represented above can be a bit misleading in that most of those messages being sent are not in the Financial Services arena. Currently, only about 12 million messages per day are being used nationally for all financial services.…
